Leadership Blue is the Florida Democratic Party’s annual weekend of training and events. Daytime sessions and meetings are free and open to everyone. The major event, the Leadership Blue Gala Dinner on Saturday night, features keynotes by Sen. Cory Booker and Gov. Andy Beshear. Our Caucus has a few seats available at our table for the dinner at the reduced price of $250 each — join us! The Republican-controlled Florida State Legislature has introduced legislation to bar those young people from participating in sports with their peers and criminalize doctors who provide affirming care. These harmful bills are being fast-tracked to pass this session.

He is a frequent contributor on state and national media outlets, having published opinion columns in USA Today, CNN digital and Orlando Weekly. He has brought awareness to the issues in HuffPost, Metro Weekly, and on television outlets such as MSNBC, CNN, and more. Brandon received the Voice for Equality Award at the 2018 Orlando Gala.

Our caucus is kicking off 2021 with some big discussions on the future of politics in Palm Beach County, in Florida, and in our country. On Wednesday, January 20th, at 6:30 PM, please join us on Zoom for an enlightening discussion and planning meeting. Guests are welcome.
We will have a discussion on the path forward for the Democratic Party in Florida with Thomas Kennedy, a prominent immigration reform activist with United We Dream, and current DNC member candidate.
We will speak with Dave Aronberg, Palm Beach County State Attorney, on his career, his fight for a more equal Palm Beach County, and the recent events surrounding conversion therapy bans in our county.
The Community Outreach Committee will meet to discuss upcoming plans for the first Rusty Gordon Day of Action, working with a nonprofit in the Palm Beach County, or any agency that serves the community, in order to bring the issues and efforts of Democrats to the people of the county.

Come any time between 5pm and 9pm to enjoy the festivities, and a special Drag Show from local queen Luci Fleur Deluxx! We will have a table to buy Rainbow Dem. Donkey pins, renew or sign up for a membership to join our caucus, as well as a Livestream on our Facebook Event for those who must quarantine at home.
