The Republican-controlled Florida State Legislature has introduced legislation to bar those young people from participating in sports with their peers and criminalize doctors who provide affirming care. These harmful bills are being fast-tracked to pass this session.

He has brought awareness to the issues in HuffPost, Metro Weekly, and on television outlets such as MSNBC, CNN, and more. Brandon received the Voice for Equality Award at the 2018 Orlando Gala.
